Dr. Baker

Randal Baker MD, FACS

Dr. Baker is a native Grand Rapids resident. Born and raised here, he graduated from South Christian High School and then received his B.A. from Calvin College. He earned his M.D. from Albany Medical College of New York. He is an Assistant Professor of Surgery for Michigan State College of Human Medicine and currently serves as the Medical Director of Bariatrics for Spectrum Health. Dr. Baker is currently the President of the Michigan Bariatric Society.

He and his wife Dawn have nine children. Dr. Baker is a gifted pianist and enjoys singing Southern Gospel music with his family.
