The Slim and Trim program consists of a low calorie diet of 1200 calories per day, which may or may not incorporate food supplements. Slim and Trim incorporates the benefits of our VLCD Program including behavioral intervention, nutrition education and instructions for increasing physical activies as well as 16 weekly group classes and weigh-ins.
Before you start the program, a one-on-one meeting is scheduled with a dietitian and an exercise physiologist. At this meeting, an individualized meal plan and exercise program will be developed. The use of food supplements is optional and will be an additional charge if chosen. At the end of the program, a 30 minute one-on-one meeting with one of our behaviorists will be scheduled.
This program is not medically monitored so therefore is available at a lower cost than our VLCD option.
